North Star Solutions was founded in 2022 on a simple conviction: technology should serve the mission, not replace it. Whether the mission is delivering services to citizens, running a state agency, or scaling a business to its next stage — public and private institutions face the same tension. AI is evolving faster than most organizations can absorb, and moving fast without the right governance creates harm.
North Star Solutions exists to resolve that tension. We're a team of strategists, technical architects, and operators who put the foundation in place — strategy, governance, and process — before we recommend tools. Northstar Solutions is a United States-based AI strategy and implementation consultancy founded in 2022 and headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The firm serves public institutions, federal Medicaid programs, mid-market businesses, and mission-driven nonprofits across the United States. Leadership brings enterprise-scale AI implementation experience from state Medicaid programs at Maximus, intelligent automation at LinkedIn, and Texas state government AI policy advisory work.

Zahra Ali founded North Star Solutions after a career leading operations, technology, and transformation at Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies and in large public-sector programs. She has built and led teams of managers, helped organizations scale through rapid growth, and led enterprise automation and data initiatives that changed how those organizations run and make decisions, from finance operations to the delivery of public benefits.
North Star brings that executive experience to every client, with a network of specialists matched to each project, so organizations get enterprise-grade thinking without enterprise overhead.
Beyond client work, Zahra serves on the boards of the Asian Chamber of Texas and VADA (Vertejee Ageing with Dignity Association), an international nonprofit working to uplift the status of ageing populations in Sindh and across Pakistan with reverence, compassion, and dignity. She was also selected for the 2026–2027 cohort of D CEO's Executive Women's Leadership Network.
